Getting Here By Car:

Reserve space in advance on Marine Atlantic ferries from North Sydney, NS to Newfoundland. If you land in Port Aux Basques, you will have to drive across the island. This may add an extra day. The Port Aux Basques summer ferry crossing takes between 5 and 6 hours. The drive is about 700 kms / 530 miles. The long ferry from North Sydney to Argentia takes about 14 hours, and the drive to St. John's is about 1.5 hours.

Hotel prices are in the range of $90 and up. Motel prices are $85 and up, and B&B prices are $85 and up.
