Sound Symposium takes place in St. John’s, Newfoundland, on an island in the North Atlantic on the east coast of Canada.

WestJet and Air Canada offer daily flights to St. John’s International Airport (YYT) from most North American Cities. Porter Airlines has more limited service to St. John’s.

Be sure to tell them you are going to Newfoundland! Some of our guests have accidentally found themselves in Saint John, New Brunswick, and that’s a long long way from here.

BY ROAD:

Marine Atlantic offers car, truck and passenger ferry service to Port aux Basque and Argentia, Newfoundland from North Sydney, Nova Scotia. St. John’s is a 9-hour drive from Port aux Basque and a 90-minute drive from Argentia. Please allow extra time when traveling by ferry as weather delays are common.
